Delgerjargal Anbat is the author of ‘Dinza’ and ‘Tsondooloi and Tsundeelei’ comic series. She is a native of Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. Delgerjargal is an author and businesswoman, who founded the Irmuun Agency in 1999. She was the publisher and editor in chief of internationally famed magazines such as ‘Cosmopolitan’ and ‘National Geographic’ in Mongolia.

The comic series ‘Dinza’ and ‘Tsondooloi and Tsundeelei’ received numerous awards for its educational and entertainment contents. The comic series sold over 1.8 million copies in Mongolian domestic market, where there are only 1 million children out of 3 million people. Both comic series depict young children overcoming obstacles and problems of life. Through the characters of the comic, the author Delgerjargal empowers and prepares the children for life and gives them courage and wit to solve life’s problems.


She is participating in BIBF2021 with her two comic book series, and graphic art novel ‘Chinggis Khaan’ which is the depiction and narration of Chinggis Khaan’s /Genghis Khan/ life and struggle in digital art form. The graphic art novel ‘Chinggis Khaan’ is never before published in any country and the graphic art novel is ready for print.

She was a pioneer in the advertisement, promotion and marketing industry of Mongolia. She was also one of the people who established the foundation of the creative industry in Mongolia after 1990. Her works include, but not limited to, creation of many domestic magazines, international magazines under franchise rights, children books and magazines, theatrical performances, public events, tourist and scientific expeditions and exhibitions, and animations. Her works are listed in chronological order as follows:

  • 1999. Foundation of graphic design and marketing studio
  • 2004-2012. Eight different types of domestic magazines, including inflight magazines of all Mongolian airlines.
  • 2007. First ever Mongolian comic series ‘Tsondooloi and Tsundeelei’
  • 2009. Second comic series ‘Dinza’
  • 2009-2015. Written and narrated the Children’s theatrical drama performance.
  • 2009. Creation of children songs and their music videos
  • 2010. Publishing of internationally famed ‘Cosmopolitan’ magazines and digital platforms and social media.
  • 2012. Publishing of internationally famed ‘National Geographic’ and ‘National Geographic Kids’ magazines and digital platforms.
  • 2013. Publishing of ‘National Geographic Traveller” magazine and digital platforms.
  • 2013. Initiated and organized ‘Mongol Wonder kid’ TV geographical contest.
  • 2017. Initiated and finished the graphic art novel ‘Chinggis Khaan’
  • Currently, working on the next volumes of ‘Dinza’ comic series and her three movie scripts.
